Everybody loves 17, or 18! Therefore, changes were made to the 2 layouts. The word 'Ngee Ann' was aligned with 'Netball', and font size further reduced, since none of us really adore the name. Haha. It's NUM style after all! This edited layout should look more like NUM's style, after much observation.
Before I go,

Check this out! Naked but spectacular. Woohoo.
Ciao!

Hello world.
For those who gave a miss for yesterday's trg, our dear
Panda actually baked Banana Walnut Cakes and Dark Chocolate Cookies (because it looked so damn black as tho they were charred). Please show your support by voting for Panda's cakes and cookies, as our recovery food on next trg (thurs). HAHAHA !

Jersey Words!
11:40 AM
First and foremost, my heartfelt thanks to all who came down to help out for Polympics, be it the tiring and irritating umpiring, or the boring score and time keeping! I know that some of the participants were not very friendly towards the umpires; nevertheless, you girls did a fantastic job! This event would not have been so successful without you, you, and YOU! Our event had one of the most participants, besides volleyball I think? Shrugs about basketball, but yay to netball! (:
Next, here are the different layouts of 'Ngee Ann Netball' I've played with for our IVP jersey:

Yunhua and Jasmin suggested doing the NUM style. I couldn't remember how that style looks like exactly, so I tried my luck with No. 17 & 18. Do let me know if it's wrong, so that I can make further changes.
ALRIGHT GIRLS, PLEASE VOTE! EVERYONE!If you do not like any of the layouts listed, please let me know so that I can come up with more? Lol.
Have fun voting! :D

Bad Day
6:21 PM

Last day of our event, jiayou! Please try your utmost to reach by 4.30, so that we can finish setup earlier. I told the teams to be ready by 5. There wouldn't be any goodie bags or whiteboards to get tomorrow, so our jobs would be much easier (:
If anyone can't make it last minute for duty, please find your own replacement. I'm not obliged to do that for you. Thank you for your cooperation, and once again, your help is very much appreciated!
On top of that, there are a few changes to take note due to the delay of the event:
- Duration of each quarter will be reduced from 7 to 5 minutes, so one game (2 quarters) will be about 10 minutes long
- Change-over will be reduced from 30 to 20 seconds, or even better, overrun if the teams don't need such a long time
- Instead of a round-robin for Finals, we will play knock out in order to save time - 1st runner-ups from both groups will fight for 3rd and 4th placing, and top two teams will fight for 1st and 2nd placing.
We have to play all the matches tomorrow, including Finals. The reason why Finals can't be postponed to Friday is because prize-giving ceremony for Polympics will be held on that day. So, no time to spare! ):
Nice weather to sleep in, by the way.
Man, I wish I can go home and jump into bed now.

New URL

This is weird. I haven't been blogging using Blogspot ever since 2 decades ago. Alright, here comes the official announcement:
Due to popular demand, our beloved blog has moved to http://netballislove.blogspot.com/. Wordpress shall stand strong despite the first-time defeat. Wordpress has already beaten Blogspot hands down just by the designs of the themes available, gosh! Pardon me for the rather gay domain. Can't use npnetball anymore. I created one using my personal account, only to realize that it's not such a good idea after all. That explains the birth of NP Netball's first gmail account - npnetball@gmail.com! I think it beats NP mail a gazillion times. The next Head of Events could use that for her events stuffs!
I already have a blogskin design in mind for our beloved blog, but till then, you just have to accept the fact that we're going pink for now! I told you Blogspot has ugly templates, hahaha.
New entries please. I look quite retarded entertaining myself down here.
Oh yes, ask me for the passwords for both our gmail and blogger account.
Good night, world.

Polympics Duty Roster
Monday, November 10, 2008
1:59 AM
Despite the fact that this is our new blog's first entry, I'll spare you girls the welcome note and the 'testing 4, 5, 6'. To start the netball rolling, let's talk about Polympics!

More changes will be made to the umpires' roster once I double confirm with Cheryl her free day again. My stomach was feeling too bloated after the steamboat that all my blood flowed over from my brain.
In regards to the most concerned CCA points, all helpers will receive the same number of points regardless of the number of days you help out. Not to worry for those who are only assigned duty on one day. All of your help is really much appreciated (:
----------
Time for blog administration!
You can either just log in and blog using this account (It has a really cool new email - npnetball@gmail.com!), or log into this account and invite your personal account to be an author.
Fill this pretty little blog in with any upcoming events you wish to share with the team! For example, the year-end league you're playing for your club. We'll all try to go down with striking pom-poms and make sure the whole place knows your existence.
This pretty little blog is also a sucker for photos. Feed her!
Last but not least, our blog loves company. SO, stop blogging at your blog, and start blogging here! Please don't let our pretty little thing die after a month or so. We've got to keep the spirit up, and the passion flaming! Hoho.
